These are by far the gem of Nyahururu. The Thompson Falls or Nyahururu Falls is a stunning waterfall located close to the equator near Nyahururu in Kenya.

The Falls plunge about 74m (243 feet) on the Ewaso Narok River, a tributary of the Ewaso Nyiro River on the far northern end of the Aberdare Mountain Range.

If you love nature, you will certainly love the splendid scenery here. Watching the waters come down with such tremendous force is beautiful to behold and a lot of photo opportunities. Upstream of the waterfall is the largest hippo pools which is a spectacular site to behold.

Located on at the foot of the Aberdares on the shores of Lake Ol Bolossat which is located to the west of the Aberdare ranges. The campsite is a spectacular place, and because of the lake it provides home to hippopotamus and is a temporary home sanctuary to thousands of migratory birds including ducks, pelicans and the Ugandan cranes

This is a truly special with calm waters backed by a majestic parade of the Satima escarpment rearing up around the lake, and is a spectacular place to spend the night under the stars, with good company and great stories to back it up.
