Grisly accident along Bomet-Kisii road Family attending kin’s graduation perish in accident involving Easy Coach

A ghastly road accident along the Bomet-Kisii highway has claimed the lives of three members of one family who were traveling to Narok to attend their kin’s graduation.

Of late Easy Coach buses have been involved in fatal accidents with matatus; just last October Easy Coach bus collided head-on with a Prestige Matatu heading to Nakuru at the notorious Salgaa –Sachangwan stretch along Nakuru-Eldoret road.

4 people lost their lives in the Salgaa accident.

Another grisly accident involving Easy Coach bus happened today morning at Kamureito area along the Bomet-Kisii highway.

Citizen Digital reports that three people died in the accident while at least 12 others were seriously injured .

The accident which happened at 3am occurred when a Nissan which had been hired by members of a family collided with Easy Coach bus heading to Kisii.

The family was heading to Maasai Mara University in Narok to attend their kin’s graduation which is happening today.

The dead were all members of one family; the Nissan was terribly damaged especially on the front where most of the impact was felt when it collided with the Easy Coach bus.

Majority of the people who got injured were travelling in the Nissan, they were rushed to Kaplong Mission Hospital and Kapkatet county Hospital in Kericho.

Most passengers who were travelling in the Easy Coach bus sustained minor injuries while others survived the ordeal escaping without a scratch.
